The Founding of AI Consulting

In 1999, a group of 22 dedicated AI practitioners came together with a vision of creating a global consultancy entirely dedicated to using appreciative, strength-based approaches to organizational change. They met four times a year for three years—talking about purpose, creating principles, and ultimately writing a charter for a totally unique, globally networked Appreciative Inquiry consultancy.

Today, with nearly 100 members on four continents, AI Consulting has truly global reach. Its members engage with corporate executives, government leaders, non-profit managers and local communities. Their clients come from a wide range of technical arenas including: healthcare, education, manufacturing, information technology, international development and social change, to name just a few.
