Diversifying Business Markets: Tier 1 Automotive Supplier
An engineering, information and contract labor services firm specializing
in automotive industry and government contracting, wanted to diversify
its market portfolio so as to not rely on one global automotive
manufacturer for 80% of its business. This inquiry started by discovering
the values of its employees and communicating the vision and mission
of the organization to its stakeholders. The second inquiry involved
a discovery of key strengths and possible marketing opportunities
for new business markets. New markets were identified and a marketing
information system for engineering and information technology areas
was designed. In addition, the client received QS 9000 and achieved
Q1 Award.
